Obama’s Brother Speaks Out Against Obama And His Deception
There’s no arguing that there is a shroud of mystery surrounding Barack Obama, as countless statements released by the president have been proven to be lies. However, Obama’s brother recently dropped a bombshell so extreme, that it may just be enough to topple the man for good.
The remarks were made during an interview between Joel Gilbert – the man who produced the film, “Dreams From My Real Father: A Story of Reds and Deception” – and Obama’s brother, Malik Obama. During a 12-minute clip that was made from the Q&A session, Malik informs the public of many truths – or mistruths – relevant to Obama.
As pointed out by Gilbert, the American people feel a bit more than deceived when it comes to the current president on account of several promises he’s broken in order to pursue personal agendas. After being asked about Obama failing to cut the deficit, support Israel, and when he lied saying “Obamacare is not a tax,” Malik’s response said it all:
“Well, the way that he’s turned and become a different person with the family is the same way that I see him behaving politically. He says one thing and then he does another. He’s not been an honest man, as far as I’m concerned, in who he is and what he says and how he treats people.”
After being asked how it felt being the eldest brother of the leader of the free world, Malik simply replied, “Disappointed… disappointed, used, used and also betrayed. In the beginning, I didn’t think that he was a schemer. His real character, his real personality, the real him, is coming out now.”
However, Malik then noted that Obama’s own family can’t stand him as they too have turned their backs on him in disgust. “I don’t understand how somebody who claims to be a relative or a brother can behave the way that he’s behaving, be so cold and ruthless, and just turn his back on the people. He said were his family,” said Malik.
Perhaps the most critical accusation comes as Malik claims that Obama has lied about everything since being in the public spotlight, including who his father was. Alleging that his father was actually his Communist mentor, Frank Marshall Davis, many think it a plausible reality.
In fact, even Obama explained in his memoir how much time he spent with “Frank,” and how much he learned – specifically about racial issues (no surprise there).
It’s unfortunate that the sheep of this nation continue to leave their blindfolds on, but the real question stands; how many lies can you tell before all trust is lost? Beyond Malik’s claims – some of which cannot be verified – Obama has been exposed enough times with his pants down for common sense folk to see right through his deceit.
As the liberal lapdog media continues to praise him and give off the idea that the man can literally do no wrong on account of his skin tone, feeble minds continue to support all things Obama.
On the eve of a White House summit on “countering violent extremism” that has already drawn complaints from some Muslim groups, the administration in its response to the beheading of 21 Egyptian Copts has not mentioned the religious affiliation of either the killers or victims.
Absent from a 192-word statement from White House press secretary Josh Earnest condemning the brutal killings were the words “Christian,” “Coptic,” “Islam” or “Muslim.”
There was a single reference to “faith” – “ISIL’s barbarity knows no bounds. It is unconstrained by faith, sect, or ethnicity.”
“ISIL” is one of several acronyms for the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), also called simply “Islamic State” or “Da’esh,” an Arabic acronym. Earnest’s statement did not spell out the group’s full name – thus sidestepping the word “Islamic” altogether – calling it merely “ISIL.”
In a gruesome video posted online the jihadist group claimed responsibility for the mass beheadings of Christians abducted in Libya.
The video was entitled “A Message Signed With Blood to the Nation of the Cross” and the victims were described as “crusaders.” An article in ISIS’ propaganda publication urged Muslims everywhere to kill “crusaders,” promising those who do “a great reward … on Judgment Day.”
Pope Francis did not shy away from the clear religious motivation behind the mass beheading.
“They were murdered just because they were Christians,” he said during a meeting with a Scottish church leader, calling the victims “brothers, who died simply because they professed their faith in Jesus Christ.”
Yet despite the religious affiliation of the terrorists and those they beheaded, and the jihadists’ blatant religious incitement, Earnest’s statement referred merely to “Egyptian citizens” and “ISIL-affiliated terrorists.”
“The United States condemns the despicable and cowardly murder of twenty-one Egyptian citizens in Libya by ISIL-affiliated terrorists,” it said. “We offer our condolences to the families of the victims and our support to the Egyptian government and people as they grieve for their fellow citizens. ISIL’s barbarity knows no bounds. It is unconstrained by faith, sect, or ethnicity.”

There was no public reaction to the killings from President Obama or Secretary of State John Kerry, but the State Department said Kerry had called his Egyptian counterpart “in the aftermath of the horrific video showing the murder of 21 Egyptians.”
“The secretary offered his condolences on behalf of the American people and strongly condemned the despicable act of terror,” it said. “Secretary Kerry and Foreign Minister [Sameh] Shoukry agreed to keep in close touch as Egyptians deliberated on a response.”
This week the White House hosts a three-day “Summit on Countering Violent Extremism (CVE)” – a term it began favoring several years ago instead of countering terrorism – with the stated aim of highlighting international and domestic efforts to prevent the radicalization, recruiting or inspiring of individuals or groups to commit acts of violence.
First announced last September, the summit was meant to be held the following month but was postponed without explanation.
When Earnest last month announced the February date, he did so in astatement that mentioned the “recent, tragic attacks in Ottawa, Sydney, and Paris,” but again without identifying the religious affiliation and declared religious motivation of those responsible.
White House officials briefing reporters on background Monday said this week’s summit would not focus only on ISIS, since violent extremists “come in all shapes and sizes.”
“There’s no profile that says this particular community is going to be susceptible to violence,” one official was quoted as saying.
Notwithstanding the evident pains being taken by administration officials to avoid identifying the challenge as “Islamic” or “Islamist,” some Muslim groups are leery of the CVE effort and the summit.
Egypt says it bombed ISIS targets in Libya after killings of Christians
(CNN)– Egypt hit back Monday with airstrikes aimed at ISIS-affiliated jihadists in Libya who are believed to have beheaded more than a dozen Egyptian Coptic Christians.
Egyptian F-16 jets took off in the early hours of Monday to bomb ISIS camps, training areas and weapons depots in Libya, the Egyptian military said.
“Avenging Egyptian blood and punishing criminals and murderers is our right and duty,” it said in a statement broadcast on state television.
The Egyptian foreign ministry said that the airstrikes targeted ISIS locations in Derna.
“Leaving the situation as it is in Libya without a firm intervention to curtail these terrorist organizations would be a threat to international peace and security,” the ministry said.
It wasn’t immediately clear how much damage and casualties they might have caused.
The bombing raids came after ISIS released a gruesome video Sunday that appeared to show the beheadings of the Egyptian Christians on a beach.
Threats from English-speaking jihadi
The footage, bearing many of the hallmarks of previous ISIS hostage execution videos, has intensified international concerns about ISIS’ deepening reach into countries far beyond its strongholds in Syria and Iraq.
The slickly produced video shows the apparent mass execution with jihadists in black standing behind each of the victims, who are all dressed in orange jumpsuits with their hands cuffed behind them.
Some of the hostages cry out “Oh God” and “Oh Jesus” as they are pushed to their knees.
The five-minute video, released by ISIS’ propaganda wing al-Hayat Media, includes a masked English-speaking jihadi who says, “The sea you have hidden Sheikh Osama bin Laden’s body in, we swear to Allah, we will mix it with your blood.”
The video threatens Egypt, which shares a long border with Libya, and also Europe, whose shores lie across the Mediterranean Sea.
‘The right of retaliation’
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi had warned Sunday that his country “reserves the right of retaliation and with the methods and timing it sees fit for retribution for those murderers and criminals who are without the slightest humanity.”
He also declared a week of mourning in the Muslim majority nation for the dead Christians.
The U.S. government condemned the killings, saying ISIS’ “barbarity knows no bounds.” U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry called Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry on Sunday to offer condolences, the State Department said.
Twenty-one Egyptian Christians were kidnapped in the Libyan coastal city of Sirte in two separate incidents in December and January. They were reportedly from impoverished villages and went to Libya looking for work.
Although the ISIS video showed around a dozen men being beheaded, officials said that all 21 Christians were believed to have been killed.
Egypt is already fighting against ISIS-allied militants on its own territory in the Sinai Peninsula, where dozens of people were killed in a series of attacks in January.
Growing ISIS presence in Libya
But concern has increased over ISIS’ rising influence in Libya amid the power and security vacuum prevalent in the country since the 2011 uprising that overthrew former dictator Moammar Gadhafi.
CNN reported in November that fighters loyal to ISIS had complete control of the city of Derna, which has a population of about 100,000 and is situated not far from the Egyptian border.
Jihadists with allegiance to ISIS had also expanded their presence westward along the Libyan coast, forming chapters in cities including Benghazi, Sirte and even Tripoli, the capital, according to Noman Benotman, a former Libyan jihadist now involved in counter-terrorism for the Quilliam Foundation.
In an example of their spreading reach, a Libyan branch of ISIS claimed responsibility for a deadly attack on a luxury hotel in Tripoli that killed 10 people, including one American.
“There’s been a real radical Islamist presence in Libya for some time,” said Lt. Col. Rick Francona, a retired U.S. Air Force intelligence officer. “What’s worrying is now they are self-identifying with ISIS.”
Ties between ISIS branches
Questions remain over how much direct command and control the ISIS leadership in Syria and Iraq has over its North African affiliates.
The killings of the Egyptian Christians has filled in some of the detail. Before the grisly video was released, ISIS had released photos in its English-language magazine Dabiq, claiming they had been executed.
“There’s certainly communication between the Libyan affiliate and the affiliate in Syria about matters of importance to both of them,” said CNN national security analyst Peter Bergen.
He said the ties between Libyan jihadists and ISIS’ precursor, al Qaeda in Iraq, “go back a very long time.”
The links between the different branches present “a real challenge to the West” for Western leaders, Francona said, as U.S. President Barack Obama asks Congress to formally authorize the use of military force in the war against ISIS.
“While we can come up with a military solution or a military operation in a restricted area like Syria and Iraq, what do we do when it expands to North Africa?” Francona asked.
“Safety for you crusaders is something you can only wish for.” Note that the Islamic State is here referring to Egyptian Christians — the indigenous people of Egypt — as “Crusaders.” Their ignorance of history is in service of their claim that Christians have no place in the Middle East. Their fanatical adherence to Islamic law has made them aggressive, violent, and supremacist — but no one wants to face the implications of that.
“Sisi warns of response after Islamic State kills 21 Egyptians in Libya,” by Ahmed Tolba and Michael Georgy, Reuters, February 15, 2015:
CAIRO (Reuters) – Islamic State released a video on Sunday that appeared to show the beheadings of 21 Egyptian Christians in Libya and President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi warned that his country would respond to the deaths as it saw fit.
Speaking on national television hours after the release of the video, Sisi said Cairo would choose the “necessary means and timing to avenge the criminal killings”.
Egypt’s state news agency MENA quoted the spokesman for the Coptic Church as confirming that 21 Egyptian Christians believed to be held by Islamic State were dead.
The beheadings could stiffen Sisi’s resolve in dealing with security threats from militants thriving in neighboring Libya’s chaos who want to topple his U.S.-backed government.
Egypt has denied reports in the past that it had taken part, along with its close ally the United Arab Emirates, in air strikes against militants based in Libya.
The footage showing the deaths of the Egyptians appeared on the Twitter feed of a website that supports Islamic State, which has seized parts of Iraq and Syria and has also beheaded Western hostages.
In the video, militants in black marched the captives, dressed in orange jump suits, to a beach the group said was near Tripoli. They were forced down onto their knees, then beheaded.
A caption on the five-minute video read: “The people of the cross, followers of the hostile Egyptian church.” Before the killings, one of the militants stood with a knife in his hand and said: “Safety for you crusaders is something you can only wish for.”…
Obama Sides With Muslim Brotherhood In Islamic Reform Debate
The president of the United States has somehow put himself on the opposite side of an Islamic theological debate from the Muslim president of Egypt.
President Obama has aligned himself with revivalist groups — including the Muslim Brotherhood — that are trying to promote traditionalist Islam, while Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi has begun championing Islamic modernizers.
Those modernizers want to defang the militant and supremacist Islam that has reigned since Islam emerged in the 700s. In contrast, the revivalists — and their allied jihadis — want to regain the regional power that traditionalist Islam held until roughly 1800.
The Islamic debate was dramatically exposed Jan. 1 when Sisi called a public meeting with the leaders of Islam’s leading seminary, which is based in Cairo.
“Is it possible that 1.6 billion people [Muslims] should want to kill the rest of the world’s inhabitants — that is seven billion — so that they themselves may live? Impossible!” Sisi said in front of the TV cameras and religious leaders at Al Azhar.
Sisi tried to portray Islam’s traditional doctrines as outmoded ideas wrongly attached to the faultless core of Islam. ”That thinking — I am not saying ‘religion’ but ‘thinking’ — that corpus of texts and ideas that we have sacralized over the years, to the point that departing from them has become almost impossible, is antagonizing the entire world. It’s antagonizing the entire world!”
“You need to step outside of yourselves to be able to observe it and reflect on it from a more enlightened perspective. … We are in need of a religious revolution. You, imams, are responsible before Allah. The entire world, I say it again, the entire world is waiting for your next move … because this umma [Muslim community] is being torn, it is being destroyed, it is being lost — and it is being lost by our own hands.”
In contrast, Obama has repeatedly praised Islam as a “religion of peace,” and says that jihadis are violating the established beliefs of Islam.
His attorney general, Eric Holder, told NBC’s “Meet the Press” on Jan. 11 that “we are at war with terrorists who commit these heinous acts and who use Islam, they use a corrupted version of Islam, to justify their actions.”
When quizzed by ABC’s George Stephanopolous the same day, Holder repeated the same traditionalist message. “We are at war with those who would commit terrorist attacks and who would corrupt the Islamic faith in the way that they do to try to justify their terrorist actions,” Holder said.
Obama’s spokesman, Josh Earnest, repeated Obama’s theological claim Jan. 7, shortly after Muslim revivalists murdered eight journalists, two cops and two other people at the Paris office of a satirical magazine, Charlie Hebdo. “There are some individuals that are using a peaceful religion and grossly distorting it,” he claimed.
“We have enjoyed significant success in enlisting leaders in the Muslim community, like I said, both in the United States and around the world to condemn that kind of messaging … and we’re going to redouble those efforts in the days and weeks ahead,” Earnest said.
On Jan 11. the White House announced it would hold a Feb. 18 meeting to showcase its efforts to prevent “violent extremism” in the United States. The announcement didn’t mention Islam.
The White House’s continued support for traditionalist Islam is drawing new criticism. ”The Obama White House is now a propaganda center for what Earnest described as ‘peaceful’ Islam,” said a Jan. 9 statement from Newt Gingrich.
“This is either madness or cowardice,” he added. ”It could be madness because President Obama and his team are so out of touch with reality that they see themselves as the definers of a 1,500-year-old religion.”
The Obama Administration Has History Of Blaming Free Speech For Islamic Backlash
The last time the Obama administration had reason to mention Charlie Hebdo it was to condemn a series of cartoons the magazine had released in Sept. 2012 satirizing Islam.
And though President Obama offered support for Charlie Hebdo on Wednesday, upon news that Islamic gunmen had stormed the publication’s Paris headquarters, killing 10 journalists and two police officers in order to “avenge the Prophet [Muhammad],” the statements criticizing the satirical magazine’s content two years ago indicate a pattern of thought with regards to free speech and free expression within the Obama administration — at least when it comes to Islam.
Obama’s first such critique came on Sept. 9, 2010, when he responded to Florida pastor Terry Jones who planned to burn copies of the Koran, the Muslim holy book.
“If he’s listening, I just hope he understands that what he’s proposing to do is completely contrary to our values,” Obama told ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos. “This country has been built on the notions of religious freedom and religious tolerance.”
“I just want him to understand that this stunt that he is pulling could greatly endanger our young men and women in uniform who are in Iraq, who are in Afghanistan.”
The next year, the U.S. Embassy in Cairo criticized another attempt at free speech.
“The Embassy of the United States in Cairo condemns the continuing efforts by misguided individuals to hurt the religious feelings of Muslims — as we condemn efforts to offend believers of all religions,” the embassy said in a statement released on Sept. 11, 2012 after protesters there had scaled the walls of the embassy and stolen a U.S. flag in protest of a 14-minute mini-movie called “Innocence of Muslims,” which many Muslims believed was offensive.
The infiltration of the embassy in Cairo came at around the same time that militants stormed the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, where four Americans, including U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens, were murdered.
The Obama administration initially blamed that attack on “Innocence of Muslims” as well.
Days after the attack, the White House reportedly contacted YouTube to request that the video sharing website remove copies of “Innocence of Muslims.”
As The Federalist’s David Harsanyi notes, the American Embassy in Islamabad, Pakistan paid for an aired an advertisement showing both Obama and then-Sec. of State Hillary Clinton condemning the video.
That’s the wrong stance to take, Harsanyi argues in his essay.
“The producer of this pointlessly inflammatory video was well within his rights to mock any religion he chose however he pleased,” Harsanyi wrote. “So the statement irresponsibly perpetuates a false notion about how free speech works around here. Neither The Embassy of the United States in Cairo nor the president of United States has the power to apologize for your views on religion.”
“The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam,” Obama said at the event. “But to be credible, those who condemn that slander must also condemn the hate we see in the images of Jesus Christ that are desecrated, or churches that are destroyed, or the Holocaust that is denied.”
“It’s time to heed the words of Gandhi: ‘Intolerance is itself a form of violence and an obstacle to the growth of a true democratic spirit.’”
It was during this period that the White House made its first mention of Charlie Hebdo.
The magazine had published several cartoons satirizing the Islamist political movement, causing the French government to temporarily shut down schools and embassies ahead of expected terrorist attacks.
“We are aware that a French magazine published cartoons featuring a figure resembling the prophet Muhammad, and obviously we have questions about the judgment of publishing something like this,” then-White House press secretary Jay Carney told reporters during a press briefing on Sept. 19, 2012.
In his statement Wednesday, Obama offered sympathy for the families of the victims which included the 10 journalists and two police officers.
He said that the terrorists — who, according to reports, told witnesses they were part of al-Qaida — “fear freedom.”
“But the one thing that I’m very confident about is that the values that we share with the French people, a belief — a universal belief in the freedom of expression, is something that can’t be silenced because of the senseless violence of the few,” Obama said in the statement.
FBI Arrest Saudi Born Navy Man For Sharing Tips On Blowing Up Aircraft Carrier
On December 5, Saudi-born US Naval engineer Mostafa Ahmed Awwad was arrested for allegedly passing secrets about the new George R. Ford aircraft carrier to an undercover FBI agent and also for discussing ways the carrier could be sunk with a missile.
Awwad is 35 years old and resides in Yorktown, Virginia.
According to Fox News, Awwad “married a US citizen in Cairo in 2007” and thereafter followed the steps to becoming an American citizen. He was hired to work at the “Norfolk Naval Shipyard’s nuclear engineering and planning department in February and got a security clearance in August.” In September Awwad told an undercover FBI agent that he wanted to obtain all the information he could and pass it back to the Egyptian government.
The uncover agent posed as “Yousef”–a gentleman having ties with the Egyptian government–and Awwad allegedly agreed to communicate with the agent via “email…unattributable telephones, and to conduct ‘dead drops’ in a concealed location in [Hampton, VA,] park.” Awwad also allegedly gave the undercover agent “top secret” drawings of the aircraft carrier during an October 9 hotel meeting.
Newport’s Daily Press reports that “the nuclear power systems onboard aircraft carriers are considered among the most guarded sections of the ship.” Awwad’s position gave him “access to information concerning the design, development, maintenance and repair of propulsion plants onboard nuclear powered ships.”
Egypt militant group says it killed U.S. oil worker
An Egyptian militant organization which was reported to have sworn allegiance to the Islamic State group has claimed responsibility for the killing of an American oil worker.
William Henderson was reportedly killed in a carjacking in the Western Desert, Egypt, on Aug. 6, the SITE Intel Group said.
The militant organization Ansar Beit al-Maqdis, which now calls itself the Sinai Province, said on its official Twitter account late Sunday that it killed him. It published pictures of his passport and two identification cards.
The passport says Henderson was 58 years old and from Texas. His identification cards say he worked for energy company Apache Corporation, based in Houston, and was a production expert for Qarun Petroleum Co, a joint venture between the Apache Corporation and the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation.
The Enid News & Eagle in northwestern Oklahoma published an obituary for a man named William Henderson in August, saying he had “passed suddenly” while working in Egypt. It said he had worked for Apache for 28 years and was 58 when he died.

Muslim’s Method To Overtake US Revealed by a Muslim
“In fact, the strategy of stealth jihad is working so well in America that Christian does not foresee any major terrorist attacks being planned anytime soon.”
Much has been reported about Latin Americans sneaking across the U.S. southern border, but there may be a greater danger looming in America’s heartland in the form of nearly 2 million Muslims who have made their way to the U.S. since 1992.
And, unlike the surge at the southern border, most of those coming from the Middle East have done so legally, with the full support of the U.S. federal government.
Scholars such as Robert Spencer, Pamela Geller and Daniel Pipes have warned for years of the Muslim Brotherhood’s doctrine of immigration, or “al-hijra,” as the long-term strategy to transform America into a different type of society – one that subjugates all other religions under Islam.
Now, another man has stepped up to sound the alarm. And his credentials make him hard to ignore.
Dr. Mark Christian, an obstetrician and former Egyptian Muslim with direct family ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, is talking a lot these days about “stealth jihad.” He says it’s the Brotherhood’s way of exploiting liberal immigration policies while working relentlessly through various Islamic front groups to pressure government, education and religious institutions to make concessions to Islam.
“Their plan here is to use the influence of the U.S. to further their own agenda. It has been going on for quite some time,” said Christian, who broke with the Islamic faith in 2003, converted to Christianity and came to America two years later. He changed his name and settled in Nebraska, only to be threatened and harassed by Muslims, including some from his own family.
“The Muslim Brotherhood is so big right now and so influential and so wealthy that they can do things on their own,” he said. “The only thing that is missing is the power of the U.S. military to be on their side.”
He explained that the Brotherhood’s goal is “to restart the Islamic empire.”
“And they think if they can restart it again, they can reconquer the whole earth.”
That plan starts with immigration.
WND reported earlier this week the U.S. State Department plans to accept at least 75,000 Syrian refugees, hand-selected by the United Nations, for resettlement in American cities over the next five years. Meanwhile, the influx of refugees from other Muslim countries such as Somalia and Iraq continues at a rate of more than 25,000 per year.
But a look at the overall immigration picture shows the U.S. government has gradually increased the religious “diversity” of new immigrants coming into selected American cities. More than 1.7 million Muslim immigrants have come to the United States between 1992 and 2010, according to a study by Pew Research Center, which has conducted one of the few studies on the religious affiliations of immigrants. The State Department says it does not ask the religious affiliation of refugees.
Immigration by the numbers
Prior to 1990, fewer than 5 percent of foreigners who took up residence in the U.S. came from Muslim countries, according to Pew. Most of them came on temporary student visas and returned to their homelands after receiving their education.
Not anymore. The trend in recent years is to allow permanent status through an array of programs, including the U.N. refugee program, the annual diversity visa lottery and special programs for foreign religious leaders. Still others are able to remain past the original date on their visas through a program that allows “temporary protective status” for 18 months at a time.
“So there are many programs by which Muslims can come in, but in many ways the U.N. refugee program is the most outrageous because they qualify immediately for government welfare benefits whereas many of the other programs they must have been here for five years,” said Ann Corcoran, who monitors the refugee population across the 50 states and writes a blog for Refugee Resettlement Watch.
Most of the U.N. refugees from Muslim countries lack education and skills that would allow them to find well-paying jobs in America. Those who do work often end up toiling in meat-packing plants or other factories that pay minimum wage. They supplement their paychecks with food stamps, Medicaid and government-subsidized housing.
But most troubling to some critics of these programs is their potential impact on the nation’s demographics and culture. They say refugees from war-torn Middle Eastern countries don’t assimilate and don’t understand or necessarily respect American values of individual liberty and responsibility.
Look at Europe
For a hint of what might be in store, one need only look toward the cultural and demographic shift occurring in Europe. Muslim enclaves have sprung up in cities across France, Germany, Belgium and the United Kingdom where it has become unsafe for Jews and Christians to enter and where civil laws gradually bow to elements of Islamic law, or Shariah.
Once they arrive on U.S. soil, the evidence suggests Muslim immigrants in cities such as Minneapolis; Lewiston, Maine; Cleveland; Columbus, Ohio; and Shelbyville, Tennessee, have done a poor job of assimilating into American culture.
American Muslims are more often Sunni as opposed to Shiite, and roughly 80 percent of American mosques built since the 1970s have been at least partially funded with money from Saudi Arabia, the headquarters for a particularly virulent strain of Sunni Islam known as Wahhabism, as explained in a WND report in 2002.
According to the Pew Research study on the religious affiliation of immigrants, the number of Muslims entering the U.S. as a percentage of the total immigrant population has doubled over a recent 20-year period, going from 5 percent in 1992 to 10 percent in 2010.MDII-graphics-webready-83
While America’s overall Muslim population is only 0.8 percent according to Pew, 0.6 percent according to the CIA World Factbook, and up to 2 percent according to other sources, the European experience shows that Islam does not need anywhere near a majority of the population to begin influencing a country’s laws and culture.
The largest Muslim population in Europe resides in France, where the CIA World Factbook estimates 5 to 10 percent of that country’s overall population claims faith in Allah. Pew Research puts the figure just under 6 percent and projects that it will continually balloon to 7 percent by 2020, to 8.5 percent by 2030, and that by 2050, nearly a third of the nation’s people will identify as Muslim.
And the picture is not much different in other European countries. Germany’s Muslim population, mostly from Turkey, is estimated at 5 percent, Belgium 6 percent, Austria 5.7 percent, the Netherlands 5.5 percent, Sweden 4.9 percent and the U.K. 4.6 percent. Almost all of these countries will have Muslim populations of 10 percent or more within 20 years, based on current birthrates.
If Islam were just another religion, the rise in Muslim immigration might not pose a problem.
But many conservative scholars who have studied Islam for years say there is more to Islam than its daily call to prayer and its dietary rules against pork and alcohol.
Islam has a decidedly political aspect that few in the halls of the U.S. State Department seem to understand, contends Robert Spencer, author of several books on Islam, including “Stealth Jihad: How Radical Islam is Subverting America without Guns or Bombs.”
“Just in terms of population, you’re talking about people with a much higher birthrate than the native peoples. You’re talking about a religion that sanctions polygamy, so this means the Muslim community is going to expand exponentially compared to other communities,” said Spencer, who also authors the blog Jihad Watch for the David Horowitz Freedom Center. “But this is not about numbers, it’s about a religion that has intentions to take over the state.”MDII-graphics-webready-99
He said the connections between the major American Islamic societies and the international Muslim Brotherhood have been well documented, but almost nobody in Congress or the executive branch seems interested in connecting the dots.
Spencer noted that when Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., in 2012 asked for an investigation into possible Muslim Brotherhood infiltration in the government, she was ridiculed and derided.
So, as Spencer explains, it’s not just a matter of the Muslim community advancing in Europe and America, it’s that all of the possible neutralizing factors are in retreat, hiding behind well-intentioned fantasies of multiculturalism, diversity and tolerance.
Spencer is not the only Western scholar who is worried.
“Some 5 percent of the EU, or nearly 20 million persons, presently identify themselves as Muslims,” wrote historian Daniel Pipes in an article for the New York Sun. “Should current trends continue, that number will reach 10 percent by 2020. If non-Muslims flee the new Islamic order, as seems likely, the continent could be majority-Muslim within decades.
“When that happens, grand cathedrals will appear as vestiges of a prior civilization – at least until a Saudi-style regime transforms them into mosques or a Taliban-like regime blows them up. The great national cultures – Italian, French, English and others – will likely wither, replaced by a new transnational Muslim identity that merges North African, Turkish, subcontinental and other elements.”
In the U.S., Spencer and others believe the Muslim Brotherhood works through organizations such as the Council on American Islamic Relations, or CAIR, and the Islamic Society of North America, or ISNA. Their power far outweighs that which might be expected for a religion that still claims only a tiny percentage of the American population as adherents.
“The connections these groups have are such that you only need a few people, much like the Bolsheviks did in Russia, because they had the vision and the ruthlessness and no other group had the will to stop them,” Spencer told WND. “We already see from the captured Muslim Brotherhood documents their intent to infiltrate and destroy the U.S. from within, and so I can’t see why they wouldn’t be successful, since no one is allowed to even discuss these plans in a public dialogue.”
A different kind of jihad
Mark Christian is one man who is intimately familiar with the Muslim Brotherhood strategies. He left Egypt for good in 2005, when he came to the U.S. at the age of 33. That was two years after he converted to Christianity and was disowned by his family.
His great-uncle was one of the co-founders of the Muslim Brotherhood, he said, and shared an Egyptian jail cell in the 1960s with Sayyid Qutb, whom many, including Osama bin Laden, have revered as the doctrinal godfather of the Brotherhood. Christian says his father is still an influential member of the organization.
After spending some time in England, he and his wife settled in Omaha, Nebraska, which he thought would be a safe haven.
“I chose Nebraska because it’s not that popular and nobody knows about Nebraska in the Middle East, because I had a very bad experience with the Muslims in England,” he said. “I was new in my faith and trying to learn more about Christianity. After I moved to Omaha, some of the guys learned about me converting and going to church, and they started threatening and harassing me, calling my wife.”
Americans should not be deceived by the fact that, despite increasing immigration, the Muslim population is estimated at only 1 to 2 percent, Christian said.
He told WND that the Muslim Brotherhood strategy from 1966 forward has been to avoid confrontations with American power. Instead, he says, the Brotherhood attempts to coax the U.S. into using its power for the Brotherhood’s own benefit.
The Brotherhood’s strategy is three-pronged, he said. It uses its front group CAIR to influence the government and military life, while ISNA works to foster “interfaith” dialogue with major Christian denominations and Jewish organizations. A third front group, the Muslim Student Association, or MSA, focuses on influencing K-12 and university education.
It is through these three groups that the Brotherhood wages “cultural jihad,” or what Christian calls “stealth jihad.”
“They want to influence the whole United States,” Christian said. “They see the U.S. as three things – it’s a government, it’s a religious institution and it is colleges and education; so we have three organizations and all are designated to each one of those things.”
ISNA concentrates mostly on outreach to Christian and Jewish religious groups.
“They say they are building bridges, but in reality they are building death tracks for these churches, watering down their theology, trying to influence the Christian teachings of the Bible and find common ground with Islamic teachings,” Christian said. “Basically they are trying to find common ground so they can kill it.”
He cites the Shoulder-to-Shoulder movement as one of ISNA’s crowning achievements.
Shoulder-to-Shoulder is a coalition of 20 religious groups that includes many of the major Christian denominations. Members include the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America, the United Church of Christ, the Episcopal Church in the USA, the Presbyterian Church (USA), the Reform Judaism movement and left-wing organizations such as Sojourners magazine.
Their stated goal is to fight “anti-Muslim bigotry,” but that’s just the window dressing, Christian says.
When a similar interfaith movement started in his own community of Omaha, Christian began working through an organization he formed, the Global Faith Institute, to help get accurate information about Islam to the churches.
Christian’s organization is trying to stop the Muslim Brotherhood infiltration of the “Tri-Faith Initiative,” which calls for the construction of a Jewish synagogue, Christian church and Muslim mosque on the same campus in Omaha, as reported last month by WND.
Christian said the Brotherhood front groups prefer to work with the large denominations and rarely pay attention to small churches.
“They say, ‘Oh we all worship the same God and we need to find common ground,’” Christian said. “It’s all about ‘respecting women, Islam is great,’ and it’s all a bunch of lies. Whenever you find those kinds of movements within the church, you always find a watered down, very liberal theology that is anti-Semitic and anti-Zionist. But there is money involved and influence involved.”
Working the military and universities
Meanwhile, CAIR is working with the military and law enforcement agencies to make sure Muslims are granted certain privileges, whether it be in the way police are allowed to investigate Muslim suspects or concessions for Muslim members of the military.
In 2011, the FBI, at the insistence of CAIR, scrubbed all of its training manuals of all references to Islam that were deemed offensive to Muslims. Christian also points to the deadly Fort Hood, Texas, attack by Army Maj. Nidal Hasan, who in 2009 gunned down 13 of his fellow soldiers. The crime, however, was not investigated as an act of terrorism but as “work-place violence” by the Obama administration.
“We cannot fight ISIS without cleaning house in our own military,” Christian said. “There is no chance.”
On the education front, MSA has a chapter in almost every American college and university, no matter how small, Christian said.
“They try to change the mindset of the kids and college students and they’re very active,” Christian said. “Their job is to degrade America, degrade Israel, and then degrade Christianity.”
Christian said Muslim Brotherhood front organizations like MSA have also worked to influence the content of American school textbooks, increasing the favorable references to Islam and its prophet, Muhammad.
“They talk about him like he’s a Robin Hood character” in many of the textbooks, Christian said. “He’s this amazing guy whose message was spread around the world, and he wanted to take from the rich and give to the poor. No mention of any conquests and no mention of the sword, the beheadings, nothing.”
So while America has less than 3 million Muslims, comprising less than 2 percent of its population, Christian says “that 2 percent is working tirelessly and they have unlimited resources coming from Saudi Arabia and Qatar and elsewhere.
“Their influence is huge.”
Lessons from Europe
Christian believes America may only be 10 to 15 years behind Europe in the creation of a parallel Islamic culture.
In January, the German city-state of Bremen signed a treaty with city’s 40,000-strong Muslim community. The agreement “guarantees the protection of Muslim community properties, the approval of the construction of mosques with minarets and domes, the allotment of land for Muslim cemeteries, the supplying of halal food at prisons and hospitals, the recognition of three Muslim holidays, Muslim representation in state institutions and several other rights and privileges,” reports the Gatestone Institute.
According to Erol Pürlü, the spokesman of the Muslim Coordination Council, a Turkish-Muslim umbrella group, the treaty with Bremen “sends a clear signal that Islam belongs to Germany.”
Bremen is the second German state to sign a treaty with local Muslim communities. Hamburg, the second-largest city in Germany, concluded a “historic treaty” with the city’s 200,000-strong Muslim community in November 2012.
All across Europe, major cities are experiencing growing Muslim quarters that are increasingly hostile to non-Muslims. (
“Especially in the big cities they have control of certain neighborhoods, not the whole city,” Christian said. “I love traveling, and when I was in Europe my wife and I used to drive from one country to another, so you talk about London, Paris and all over Europe now, when the population gets bigger they call it a ‘no-go zone’ where the police can’t come in and they set their own rules.
And they have access from the Middle East, so they can go in and get asylum, in many cases even if they’ve been rejected by their own government for being terrorists. England has been opening its doors for years to the Brotherhood’s leaders, after Margaret Thatcher had shut them out.”
Spencer is equally pessimistic that America will avoid the path taken by Europe, where elected leaders increasingly cater to Islam.
“I think in America we will see the same thing that’s happening in Europe happening here,” he said. “There will be growing enclaves with Muslims living in close proximity, such as Dearborn, Michigan, and Minneapolis, Minnesota, and less and less respect for civil law and more and more for Islamic law.
“We see it now in Antwerp (Belgium), parts of London and in Malmo, Sweden.”
Spencer said he has personally been banned from Britain, as has the co-author of one of his books, Pamela Geller. Anyone who speaks out publicly about what they see as the dangers of Islam can expect the same fate, he said.
Similar but different strategies
Christian sees similarities in what has happened in Europe and the situation in America. But the Muslim Brotherhood strategies for the two continents are not exactly the same, he said.
“There is something different over here. What they are doing in Europe is different than what they are trying to accomplish in the states,” Christian said. “They need to gain the U.S. government’s trust through the Muslim Brotherhood front groups, so over there they are trying to make it more scary.”
Most of the leaders in Congress, those in the executive branch and those running the major U.S. media corporations are, psychologically, right where the Brotherhood wants them, Christian said.
“When you see ISIS you can’t in five months change your minds about the peaceful Muslims. So when you see them slaughtering people’s heads you would say ‘these other guys from the Muslim Brotherhood are political, they are not slaughtering heads in front of the cameras like ISIS,’” he said. “‘So while I know he’s a bad guy at least I have conversation with him, unlike that guy over there slaughtering heads.’ So it’s good cop, bad cop. When, essentially, they’re the same. The majority of the government and media in America would say, ‘You know, I would rather work with the Muslim Brotherhood than with ISIS.’”
Christian said the Muslim Brotherhood plan to prepare the world for Islamic law and Islamic supremacy goes back to the early 1970s, after its leaders were released from prison in Egypt.
“That is when they decided not to be local anymore, but to be more international. I have lived in interesting times,” he said. “And I have been in meetings, even as a kid, where it sounded ridiculous to me, but lo and behold it seems to be coming together all the way they wanted it. I understand it very well.
“It is coming together even better I think than they planned.”
In fact, the strategy of stealth jihad is working so well in America that Christian does not foresee any major terrorist attacks being planned anytime soon.
“They have their foot soldiers here from Somalia and Sudan and other places. But there will be no attacks for at least two years,” Christian said. “Not because the FBI is so great in stopping them, but because they are having so much success under Obama. And it will be the same under Hillary (Clinton) if she is the next president. No attacks on American soil are needed. But as soon as that is not effective enough, they will launch attacks, and they have the means to do that right away. For now they are terrorizing people enough in Europe and Africa and the Middle East, but they are having so much success over here using a different strategy of stealth jihad.”
